Cosmetology Scholarship candidates must have experience with molecular biology techniques (cloning, PCR), protein production and characterization techniques. Affinity with microscopy and spectroscopy is recommended. In addition, applicants must have the ability to work in teams, working independently, to publish and present scientific research in English, to immediately collect and master scientific knowledge and concepts. Cosmetology Scholarship communication and organizational skills, problem solving skills and persistence are recommended.

Cosmetology Scholarship Information: (currently available) the first generation psFPs limited in number and in connection with their photophysical characteristics. In this project NWO-Echo psFP second generation with improved properties will be engineered. http://thescholarshipprogramme.com The Cosmetology Scholarship full-time will be temporary for a maximum period of four years (18 months plus 30 months after positive evaluation) and should lead to a dissertation (PhD thesis). An education plan will be prepared which includes attendance of courses and (international) meetings. PhD students are also expected to assist in the teaching of students.
