The Department of Computing is a leading department of Computer Science among UK Universities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for either a Research Assistant or Research Associate for the prestigious Innovative Medicines Initiative funded project on the Unbiased Biomarkers for predicting respiratory disease outcomes project (UBIOPRED). Central to this project is the creation of a Translational Medicine Knowledge Management Repository that curates and manages all of the project data and study findings and makes it available to all members of the project. Within this project the applicant will be responsible for the Knowledge Management Platform including developing methodologies, ontologies and systems for managing the Clinical, Biological and other Research data collected by the project.
